IntegrativeTherapy

I have been trained in Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural modalities. I feel each approach holds value and as each client is individual, so the therapy offered will be individual and tailored to your preferred way of working.

I offer a genuine, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, enabling you to gain insight, improve self awareness and gain further understanding to help you move forward.

Couple Counselling

Whilst all relationships can sometimes suffer under the pressures of everyday life, ongoing and unaddressed issues can leave one or both of you feeling you are at breaking point.  I am able to offer you a safe, facilitated space in which to explore issues around communication, unexpressed feelings and other factors affecting your relationship with each other to enable you to move forward.

Supervison and Reflective Practice

I have a Diploma in Individual, Group and Casework Supervison. I take an integrative approach to all my practices, both in counselling and supervision. I offer my supervisees a collegial approach to supervison with a safe, exploratory space to consider all aspects of their work including ethical issues, the counsellor-client relationship, the supervisory relationship, psychoeducation and areas to encourage ongoing training and CPD.

Animal Assisted Intervention Therapy

Animal assisted intervention therapy is another approach to enable emotional and social well being.  I have found that working with animals alongside the counselling and psychotherapy, offers a different way of exploring painful feelings and difficult issues.  Animals offer unconditional acceptance and their responses are direct, honest and in the moment.
